Rachel will reveal how wildlife crossings are used to help animals cross man-made roads and railways all over the world: from canopy rope bridges for Hainan gibbons in China, to tiny tunnels for toads in South Africa. Rachel will share her notebooks and talk about how she researches and writes non-fiction, followed by a Q&amp;A session.For participants aged 5-12 years.About the Speaker:Rachel Ip is an award-winning picture book author whose stories are often inspired by the wild world around us. She's always loved languages and literature and studiied French, German, and linguistics at Cambridge University. She writes a mixture of fiction and non-fiction books for young readers. Rachel was born in the UK.
